Review methodology

The testing process

We capture the same three-bedroom, 1,900 sq ft reference listing on every platform, timing each stage: setup, capture, processing, editing and publishing. We publish the resulting asset to a test listing page and measure load performance and engagement.

Pricing is scored on total cost of ownership over twelve months, including hardware, per-space fees and required add-ons — not on the advertised entry price alone.

Customer experience is scored on documented response times to real support tickets we file during the test window, plus onboarding materials and cancellation friction.

Update cadence

Reviews are re-tested at least twice a year, and immediately when a vendor ships a material change to capture, pricing or output quality. The update date on each review reflects the last time a reviewer re-ran the rubric.
